The natural state of human beings is one of perfect health, free from illness and
distress. The essence of who we truly are does not suffer from illness or distress;
only our bodies and minds suffer. In times of illness and distress our true essence
remains one of perfect health. Therefore aligning our bodies and minds with our
natural state of being is a beautiful path to healing. Communing with nature has
a mystical way of assisting us with this alignment. The essence of nature is one
in the same as the essence of who we truly are, as is the essence of everything
in creation. Within this essence lies perfect silence and stillness, which are the
essential ingredients of healing. What keeps most of us out of alignment with this
essence is the constant activity in our minds. When we commune with nature our
awareness of silence and stillness rises and suddenly our minds slow down, thus our
natural state of being begins to arise. This is the process of "Healing Through
Nature".
Probably the most popular practice of spiritual healing today is meditation. When
we move deeply into a meditative state we connect with the perfect silence and
stillness that lies within us. We experience peacefulness, tranquility, and a
state of bliss that is purely of divine nature. This is our natural state.
"Healing Through Nature" films are designed to bring us into this same state of
well-being. Watching and listening to the peaceful sights and sounds in these films
is its own form of meditation. The films begin with narration to bring us into a
meditative state, having us focus our attention on our breathing and freeing our
minds from involuntary thoughts; narration to help us stay present in the here
and now as we watch and listen. If we focus our attention on what we see and hear
with a high degree of presence, we will slowly shift into alignment with our
natural state, and will sustain the feeling of our true essence throughout a forty
plus minutes segment of peaceful sights and sounds. After this long stretch of
bliss there is a closing dialogue teaching us to raise our awareness of nature and
its healing power that exists all around us throughout each day; teaching us to

quieting our minds. If we can learn to quiet our minds and connect with the
silence and stillness that lies within us and is the very essence of everything
around us, then we can learn to be aligned with our natural state at any time.
